The organization was formally registered at SEC the on April 1, 1992. The Articles of Incorporation and the By-Laws were later amended on March 27, 2010, by the Board of Directors and subsequently approved by the Commission on the 07 July 2010 with its new name, the People’s Disaster Risk Reduction Network, Inc.

Department of Social Welfare and Development, License No.: DSWD-SB RL-00146-2014

In October 1997, PDRRN was granted a license to operate by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD R-III), and accredited as a Disaster Relief and Community Welfare Services Organization by the DSWD National Bureau of Standards. On December 29, 2014, a new Registration Certificate and License to Operate was issued to the organization as a social welfare agency.
